Coppa Spettacolo
A two-day scenic tour for foreign visitors,
including participation in the Spettacolo Sportivo Event.

August 20 – 24, 2014

Tour Details

We are glad to inform you about the final program of our special scenic tour, organized by SCARB for foreign Alfisti on August 21st an 22nd. As mentioned in our previous bulletins, this tour takes you through the most beautiful parts of the Netherlands prior to the 2014 Spettacolo Sportivo event at the racetrack of Zandvoort on August 23rd and 24th.

Participants have a choice from two options, the Viaggio Lungo, starting Wednesday night the 20th, or the Viaggio Veloce, starting Thursday 21st. Although we expect quite a large number of foreign participants from different countries, the tour will also be open for our SCARB members who can accompany you and show you extra details of our beautiful country.


Day 1

The tour starts Thursday August 21st early in the morning in the small city of Oisterwijk, right in the middle of the southern province of Brabant. This start location can easily be reached by motorway from all directions with a driving distance of about 25 km from the Belgian border and 80 km from the German border. The participants will be welcomed with a dinner buffet on Wednesday night August 20th.


The first stage on Thursday leads you through the beautiful parts of the southern Netherlands, famous for its wide rivers and picturesque towns. We are planning the tour passing the famous windmills of Kinderdijk, possibly with a panoramic lunch location.
After lunch the tour proceeds at approximately 6 meters below sea level to the town of Alphen which is situated at the old riverbed of the Rhine. Here we will end the day with a dinner buffet in our hotel.


Day 2

The second stage goes criss-cross through the green ‘wetlands’ of Holland, again passing the most beautiful landscape and villages. At the end of the day we will have a glimpse of the dunes at the North Sea coast in the seaside village of Noordwijk and finally end the day at our hotel, again with a dinner buffet. This hotel is also your place to stay for the Spettacolo Sportivo weekend.

From our hotel in Sassenheim the seaside resort of Zandvoort, where our Spettacolo Sportivo takes place at the famous race track, can be easily reached within 30 minutes.
Saturday night is SCARB Club Diner with many SCARB volunteers, special and foreign guests in Zandvoort.



Package

All hotel accommodation is rated three or four stars, and includes breakfast and dinner. All participating teams are provided with a detailed roadbook and a special rally plaque at the start of the tour. Prices also include the entrance fee for the Spettacolo Sportivo event. Lunches, drinks at the dinners and further refreshments are not included.

For lunches on both tour days we are still planning suitable locations. If possible we offer you optional reservation possibilities at the start of the tour.

Viaggio Lungo

The ‘Viaggio Lungo’ starts Wednesday 20th with a diner at the hotel in Oisterwijk. The price is € 687 for 2 persons, based on double room hotel accommodation.

Viaggio Veloce

For those who are interested in this special tour, but are not able to arrive on Wednesday evening, it is possible to join the tour on Thursday morning at the start location or at the end of the day at the hotel in Alphen. The price of this ‘Viaggio Veloce’ is € 564 for 2 persons, based on double room hotel accommodation.

How to register

If you would like to join us on this special tour, please fill in the registration form on our website and send it before May, 15th. The registration form will be online from April 25th and details for payment can soon be found on our website www.alfaclub.nl.

The number of hotel rooms reserved is limited, so we suggest to send your registration as soon as possible.
